We believe in the power of education to help end poverty

Story

Hi there.  Guy here.

My friend Oscar Pullen and I are planning a big bike ride to raise £500 each for the charity Build Africa.  We will be cycling from Whistable to Deal in Kent, a distance of about 50km, along the Thanet Viking Coastal Trail (www.visitthanet.co.uk/viking/trail_map.asp).  We will be doing the ride over two days, and will spend the night camping somewhere near Broadstairs.  Our dads will accompany us when we do the ride on 9th & 10th April.

Our school, Wellesley House (www.wellesley.kent.sch.uk), has set a target for us to collectively raise £5,000.  The money we raise for Build Africa will be spent on building new classrooms at schools in Kenya and Uganda.  This will make a great difference for the children who live there.  I hope you can sponsor us on our Big Bike Ride.

Thank you.
