Story

Hi all,

Hope you're well. Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

As most of you know I have a few screws loose when it comes to exercise. As a result, I've foolishly entered myself into this year's Flora London Marathon on 26th April 2009. I'm determined this time to finish the course under the magical 3 hour barrier - to give myself an extra incentive (other than getting the ordeal over and done with quicker) I'll give an extra £100 if I don't make it!

I've elected to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society as both my grandparent's on my Mum's side were diagnosed with dementia a year ago. The effect Alzheimers can have on a loved one's character is so profound. I want to run for the Alzheimer's Society to help fund their vital research into this condition and to help those families affected by this life-changing disease.

If you do wish to sponsor me, remember to gift-aid it so the charity gets 28% on top of your donation.

Thanks a million,

Rich / Guiv / McGuiver
