We're raising money to help two charities, namely Kingston Rotary which is just awesome with all that they do and how they help our local community.

Also Leander Sea Scouts in Kingston as they are amazing for providing access to water activities for young kids locally; and for letting us train with them for free.

A BIG thank you as well for Hill Johnson & Leo Solicitors in Surbiton for sponsoring the costs of the event for us too, so that all the money we raise goes to these charities.

The Great River Race www.greatriverrace.co.uk is London's Rowing Marathon from London Docklands to Ham in Surrey (being 21.6 miles long) on Saturday 9th Sept. We entered the Rotary Home Counties Gig call Gordon Talbot.

After a very choppy start and losing time in the waves the boys dug in and posted a highly respectable time of 3hrs 20mins, smashing previous years times by over an hour! The lads have done us proud and so hopefully with your help with donations and Team GT's physical exertion we can both give something back to these fantastic charities.
