On Sunday the 20th of January, Instead of celebrating my 30th birthday with a party I have decided to run 30 miles, to really give me something to remember and at the same time doing something for a worthwhile cause.

I have chosen help the heroes because they provide direct, practical support to wounded, injured and sick Service personnel, veterans, and their families. This is provided through grants to individuals and other Service charities, capital build projects and support for life at our four Recovery Centres across the UK.
