Hello
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am raising money for Mind, the mental health charity.
One in four people are affected my mental health issues, which can have devastating effects on the sufferer and their family. Despite this, the effects of ill mental health are often underestimated, and as a sector, is often underfunded. This is why we need charities like Mind, who lobby the government, provide representation on behalf of people suffering from mental health issues, set up support networks and counselling servives, and many more vital aspects which can assist the NHS.
It goes without saying that they are reliant on donations.I am trying to raise £2,700 for Mind by taking part in a 100k trek in Cuba, for which I have quit smoking and drinking, and am now a member of a gym!
