On Sunday 21 April, I'll be running my third Virgin London Marathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

More than 1 in 3 of us will develop cancer at some point in our lives.

Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour, every person. 

Cancer Research UK are finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer to save more lives. More people are beating cancer than ever before thanks to their groundbreaking work and survival rates have doubled in the last forty years. But we can’t stop there.

I share their ambition to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. This long-term vision won’t be achieved today or in our lifetime. But one day, it will happen.
