Story
In September, I will be travelling up to Newcastle to take part in The Great North Run 2018. In September 2017, I ran my first ever half-marathon in Cheltenham to raise money for a pupil in my class who was recovering from a life-changing traffic collision. At the request of the pupil's parent, any money I raised over the target was to be donated to The Children's Trust who have played a major part in the child's recovery.
A few months after my donation to them I was contacted by the charity and asked if I would like to represent them at The Great North Run. I was incredibly honoured to have been asked and accepted straight away.
I am now hoping to raise at least £400 for this amazing charity who do simply remarkable work. The work they do with children suffering from brain injuries is incredible and every penny people are able to donate is so greatly appreciated.
