As some of you may or may not know I'm a bit of classic car nut.

Here's a picture of my faithful stead, a Triumph 2000 from 1969 -

Together with Mark Bland, over the weekend of 3rd/4th/5th October 2008 we'll be taking part in a "reliability run". Just over 100 classic Triumphs are taking part. We leave London on Friday night at 6.30pm, arriving in John O'Groats at 7.00am Saturday morning for breakfast then driving all the way down to Land's End for breakfast at 7.00am Sunday, before returning to London for dinner Sunday evening. The total distance is just under 2000 miles - all in 48 hours.



This year the event is in aid of the RNLI. If any of you would like to sponsor us we'd be extremely grateful.
