Story
Hi I’m Sid (Sinead) the hysterical looking one with the hair dryer and Ivan’s the one with the cheeky I’ll teach her to dance if it kills me grin.
So here’s the problem I’m being forced against my will to dance for charity and I need your help!
The following are some things I’ve heard a lot lately:
“Sid that’s very good but you’ve added more steps again.”
“Sid you get too excited if I put the music on, you need to learn the steps first.”
“Sid let me lead, I’m in charge!”
“Sid we can’t just do lifts.”
“Sid don’t just smile at me and pretend you got it right.”
Now things I’ve said a lot:
“Ivan I didn’t add anything, those are the steps!” (I think it spices up the dance if I add a few more.)
“Ivan can we please dance with the music?” (It’s very fast and very exciting.)
“Ivan I’d let you lead if you were doing it right.” (I like being in charge, even if I’m wrong.)
“Ivan can we do the lifts know?” (More time in the air means less extra steps, plus he throws me like a rocket.)
“Ivan I’m smiling because I got it right!” (All lies, just keep smiling.)
So on the 3 of November at the Mayflower theatre in Southampton come and watch as we make some crazy Lindy hop/swing style shapes, as I dance like it’s for charity and get thrown like a rocket (BEST BIT!) We’d love to win and raise the most money. (Though sweet 4 would be good)
To my lovely friends and family if you can’t be there please please sponsor us for this wonderful cause! And friends and family of Poor Ivan please give us a donation for all that I’ve put him through.
Thanks and love
Sid and Ivan
