We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

In June 2013, we five unfortunate souls are cycling on bicycles with our feet all the way from Crystal Palace in London, over the Channel (boat involved) and, by sheer amount of peddling, up the Champs-Élysées and straight into the middle of Paris.

It’s about 400 miles all in, or so they tell me, which we’re covering in five days. Oh yes.

We’re doing it to raise money for the charity Prostate Cancer UK.

I have to tell you that Prostate Cancer UK pay the costs of the trip from the money we raise, anything beyond that goes to them.

We’re hoping to raise thousands of pounds for a really important cause.

Our efforts to get ready for the trip, the training, the swearing, the sobriety (oh the sobriety, oh yes) will mostly be covered in the pages of the Evening Times, so  there will be plenty opportunity to watch me suffer.

I will need your help.

Thanks,

Ewan
