Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Geoff Owen (46), John Mara (51), Paul Robinson (47), Steve Dargan (37), Gill Davies (42) (Oldham CDO) and Peter Lowe (52) (Bury CDO) are embarking on a 140 mile bike ride from Blackpool to Bridlington on 24th November, 2008, starting at Blackpool Tower at midnight. Back up staff for the epic attempt are PC Sue Mara driver, and First Aider Donna Robinson)
All the riders are current serving GMP Officers/Staff working in the custody suite at Oldham and Bury Police Station. All donations are welcomed and the fundraising total will be donated to the CYSTIC FIBROSIS TRUST.

The ride has now been completed. Setting off from Blackpool Tower at midnight 24-11-08 we faced the elements, high winds, rain, sleet, snow steep hills complete darkness, and then finally sun! The team reached Bridlington Promenade at 11.45 am completing this epic fete ahead of schedule.
