i first heard about the GEM appeal one time at my sons house chatting with relatives, my daughter in laws brother is the father of Preston North End goalkeeper Andrew Lonergan who's daughter Millie suffers from PKU which is a genetic disorder, as i run one of my main races every year for charity i can think of no better one to choose this year than the GEM appeal, therefore i will be having another crack at the rotherham 50 mile which some of you may know the last time i pulled out due to extreme weather conditions, it has now been brought forward a month so i am confident of completing the task this time, so wish me luck and please give generously.
