Last year we raised just under £1000 for Children in need this year it would be great to smash that total. As you may know last year was put together a few days before the main event. And rapidly vendors and forum users donated a mass of goodies for a forum based auction.

This year I wanted to be a little more prepared, hence using JustGiving that way all the donations are in one place, and last year killed my paypal account.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – Vapers of the world raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I’m by no means saying vapers must donate through this JustGiving account as there are many other ways to do so if you wish.

So what can we do this year?

The chances to donate are endless from simply donating a small amount of your vaping budget.

Or sell some unused kit and donate a small percentage.

Mod makers could make something special for the charity and simply donate all or a percentage of the cash, like I say this year there are so many ways to help.

And of course let’s not forget the vendors who were a massive source of prizes for last year’s auction, which we may well try and run again.

I have set a closing date of the 31 Dec 2012 which should give enough time to make a fair bit for the charity.
