Story
Why? In January this year my sister, who is just 28, was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I was startled to discover that brain tumours now account for more deaths among children and those under 40 than any other cancer. Despite this, brain cancer receives a fraction of the funding of higher profile cancers. I am completing this challenge to raise much needed funds for Brain Tumour UK, a charity working to increase awareness, knowledge, and research into the disease.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brain Tumour UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
