On August 23rd 2013 I am going on a 10 day trip to Tanzania, to climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. The peak of the mountain is 5895 metres (19,340 feet) above sea level. I will be climbing it over 6 days. It is a big challenge, but one I intend to complete. I am funding the trip myself, so every penny that I raise goes to my chosen charity.

I have chosen to raise money for Greyhound Rescue West of England. They do a brilliant job rescuing and rehoming Greyhounds and Lurchers.
