Story

Team = Tillo (Rob Tillotson), Shack (Dave Shackleton), Blongy (Phil Blong) & Deli (Dave Germaine).

After our close friend Dave Garbett, sadly lost his dad, Steve in 2014 to Prostate Cancer, he and a few friends successfully cycled from London to Amsterdam to raise money for this worthwhile cause.  We have decided that we want to do our bit by participating in this years Football to Amsterdam challenge in memory of our friend Steve Garbett. He was more than just "our mates dad", he was our mate too.

The 4 of us will be cycling from Oakwell Stadium, the home of Barnsley Football Club, to Ajax's Amsterdam Arena on June 3rd 2016 over 2 days. A huge challenge for us, especially, if you all know us personally!!

We have set ourselves a target of £4000 and we know this is a huge amount of money, but if we don't aspire and set ourselves an ambitious goal then we'll never make a difference.

Any donation is appreciated, so let us all thank you in advance.

With more and more people seemingly suffering at the hands of some strain of cancer and more of us being effected by friends and family members stories, it is as important as ever that we support the charity who invest heavily into research, awareness, specialist nurses and 1-2-1 support.

Prostate cancer effects 1 in 8 men, so gents, please don't ignore any symptoms. Please see the Prostate Cancer website for further information.
