Last year 3 best friends took the plunge and flew across the Atlantic to New York to make new happy memories together after a turbulent and traumatic few (understatement) years... 

Over the past 6 years our friendship has gone from strength to strength, we have supported each other through the darkest of days and have walked each other through some of the strongest storms.. 

For anyone that doesn't know.. The Yayas came together by fate and the three of us have been pretty inseparable ever since! Yayas means a group of 3 soul sisters who accept you for the good and the bad with understanding and non-judgement and are there for you no matter what.. And that is exactly who we are 💕

This year is the 10th anniversary of Scotty's Little Soldiers and what better way to show our support than by combining our love of making new memories together with the purpose of the charity... Making new happy memories for the children of our fallen British Armed Forces x

When we have down days we talk about going back to New York one day and laugh about all the things we did out there and the fun we had together.. Memories like those see us through.. Obviously we can't ACTUALLY go back.. Not YET!! But we can walk the equivalent and remember the good times we had along the way... 

Scotty's Little Soldiers is a charity which is close to our hearts for many different reasons and we want to raise as much money and awareness for this amazing charity as we possibly can... 

Between the three of us we are going to walk 3477 miles.. That's an average of 21 miles a week.. Every week.. For a whole year!! Hopefully we can smash our challenge way before our aim of a year! 

3477 is the journey from Bury St Edmunds to New York City... We started our journey together as a trio from there.. So it seemed a fitting place to set our goal from! 

We hope you can all support us on our journey.. We have work commitments, life commitments , nine children in the mix and a final year nursing degree to get through.. between us.. And believe me.. Not one of us travels this journey alone.. If one has a dark day.. The other two step up and pull the other one through it.. Its how we work.. And that's how life is as a Scotty member.. The charity is always there.. Always making plans and organising and providing support for the members...
