This year, Elise and her all-female Woman with Altitude team will be heading to the vast Cairngorm National Park in Scotland, to climb the six highest peaks in six days, and then live in the mountains for two weeks, as Nan Shepherd would have done, with absolutely no modern day equipment.

The Cairngorms are an extreme environment, and this journey will be no easy feat. There will still be snow on the higher peaks, with rain and wind being a constant battle. Oh and did we mention the midges?

Elise has chosen to support Scottish Women's Aid through this expedition, the lead organisation in Scotland working towards the prevention of domestic abuse. They play a vital role coordination, influencing and campaigning for effective responses to domestic abuse.

Thank you so much for visiting this page, and please donate anything you can, no matter how small to this amazing charity.
