We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

In 2017, our son Huey was diagnosed with Leukaemia aged just 15 months old. For the three and a half years following this devastating diagnosis we were directed down a path no parent wants to travel, bearing witness to the brutality of cancer treatment, frequently having to drop everything for unexpected hospital admissions, and all the time trying to make life as normal for the family whilst pushing away our own persistent anxieties.

This journey was made easier by the wonderful care provided by the Royal Marsden Hospital and its staff, for which we will be forever grateful. As medical professionals we know the dedication it takes to be part of the brilliant team at the Oak Centre for Children and Young People.

This is my way of giving back. I am running/cycling/swimming through 40 events after turning 40 years old; starting and finishing with the London Marathons 2023 and 2024. Other events include numerous marathons, a 100km ultra run and full distance Ironman.

Please help me reach an ambitious £40,000 fundraising target, all of which will go to the Royal Marsden Charity to further research into cancers such as childhood Leukaemia.
