Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

At this time of year, the team at Warrington Disability Partnership are usually extremely busy organising a packed programme of fundraising events, as well as attending many local community events. This year, due to the current pandemic there was no alternative other than to cancel these events.

As you can imagine, as a charity, WDP rely heavily on income from fundraising events to enable them to support local disabled people, their families, friends and
carers. The team have developed a new and exciting way for people to support them to raise funds, the ‘Virtual Walk in the Park 2020’. If you are sponsoring a particular person or group, please let us know in the description.

Throughout July and August, participants will be joining in with this virtual event on a day of their choice. They will be walking, pushing, jogging, running or even cycling for at least 5km within their local area.

If you would like to register for the event online, please visit https://www.disabilitypartnership.org.uk/events/walkinpark.shtml.

Alternatively, you can ring the WDP Switchboard on 01925 240064. Entries cost just £8 and everyone who completes the challenge will received a certificate and medal (the first 100 entries are guaranteed an engraved 2020 medal).

All proceeds will go to Warrington Disability Partnership
