Story

Last year I walked 26 miles in one day to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer's Society. I raised £1,389. I want to bigger and better that, so in 2024 I am trekking THREE marathons to raise money for this amazing charity.  That's:

💙 26 miles of the South Devon Coast on 8th June

💙 26 miles in Snowdonia on 29th June

💙 26 miles in The Cotswolds on 6th July

We continue to love, support and care for a family member, who is battling with short term memory loss and confusion, whilst long-term memory remains clear. The problem is all in the detail of recent conversations and events. It's upsetting and distressing on a daily basis for all those involved. We still don't have an official diagnosis.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research. Please help me to support this wonderful cause.
