Story

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.

On the 14th March, members of Tunbridge Wells RFC are 'braving the shave' to raise money and awareness for the Brain Tumour Charity (Lewis Moody Foundation).

On the 11th December 2019, our fellow team mate Chris Brown and his wife Faye, discovered their 1 year old son, William, had an aggressive and rare form of cancer, combined with a brain tumor. William has been getting the best care possible at Kings College Hospital and after several successful operations, he is showing the courage and determination of a champion.

After hearing the devastating news, the club want to come together and hold a fundraising event for William and the Brain Tumor Charity (Lewis Moody Foundation). Chris and Faye are have asked all the proceedings goes towards the charity, which helps people of all age battle brain tumors.

As well as the 'Brave The Shave', the club will be holding a quiz night in the evening on the 14th March, with all proceedings going towards the charity. If you would like to find out more, please contact the club directly.

If you would like to follow William's story, Chris and Faye have set up a fundraising page:
