We are just 4 ordinary guys, who want to challenge ourselves mentally and physically and in doing so we thought it would be a great chance to raise some money for a worthy charity for oxfam and the Gurkhas.

The treatment of Gurkhas and their families Has not been good, it became widely known that Gurkhas received smaller pensions than their British counterparts. There has been change since 1997. But despite the changes, many Gurkhas who had not served long enough to entitle them to a pension faced hardship on their return to Nepal. There has been 26 Victoria Crosses awarded to Gurkhas between 1858 and 1965. 

Walking 100k in under 30 hours will be testing in any circumstance. Completing this along with raising as much as we can will give us a real sense of achievement and make it seem like we have done our part in making a difference.
