We are here for every cat to keep them happy, healthy and safe.

Story

Thank you for viewing my page and donating some money
for Cats Protection, which is the UK's leading feline welfare charity.

In August 2017, I became a Cat Care Volunteer at Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre. A couple of months later a vacancy came up at the Centre for a Volunteer Team Leader. I applied for the role and got it! I joined as a member of staff on      2 January 2018 and I can honestly say ‘I love my job’.

Over the last year I have doubled the amount of volunteers that we have helping us at Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre and Taunton Homing and Information Centre. They are a terrific group of volunteers, who not only help look after our cats, but also help with fundraising. Check out our website, Facebook page or
Twitter account, to find out when we are having our next fundraising event.

Doing a parachute jump has always been on my 'bucket list', but now I am doing it for such a worthy cause. I need to raise a minimum of £400 for our cats and kittens. This money will go towards a variety of things that will make our cats as happy as possible, while they are in our care. The Skydive will take place on Saturday 14 September 2019, at Dunkeswell Airfield, Honiton.

Cats Protection's vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs. Before our cats or kittens are adopted, they have a health check, are fully vaccinated, neutered (if required), microchipped, de-flead and wormed. The average costs of looking after a cat in our care can be more than £200. However, we only charge £70 for a cat under 12 years old or £60
for 12 years and over. If you are interested in adopting any of our advertised
cats, please call Exeter on 01395 232377 or Taunton on 01823 667945.

Cats Protection has simple and clear objectives to help cats find good homes, to supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats and improving people’s understanding of cats and their care. Achieving this vision is only made possible due to kind cat lovers who support our work.
