Story

My Dad was diagnosed with Oesophagus cancer on the 21st Feb,. He tried his hardest to fight it but it was to late, as it had taken over his body, he passed away only 11 weeks later, whilst at home with mum and I at his side.

St Barnabas helped care for my dad in the day, they would wash him, change his dressing, make sure he was as comfy as you can be when your coming to the end of your life. They were also a great support for my mum.

Myself, and some ladies at work along with some daughters, a son and friends in the mix have decided that we would do the Bubble Rush to raise Money for St Barnabas. One of the daughters (Sarah that is taking part has also had help and support from St Barnabas).  Amongst the people taking part is my 5 year old son, who can not wait to be covered in bubbles.

Thank you for reading, please if you only give £1 that is a help.

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity and every year we support more than 9,000 people across Lincolnshire with a life limiting or terminal condition. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. We aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left.We are reliant on the financial support our community provides so that we can be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.
