Story
In 2018 i successfully summited mount Kilimanjaro and raised £3000 for ptsd resolution. That was enough to fund six people getting a course of therapy to relieve their symptoms of ptsd. That's six lives that were saved.
I am setting myself a new challenge to hike to Everest Base Camp at 5380m high and sleep there for two nights in freezing conditions. I am funding the whole trip myself so anything i raise will go to ptsd resolution. My trip has been cancelled twice due to COVID so this will be third time lucky!
Last year in the UK 71 military personnel and veterans took their own life due to the mental trauma of war. This needs to be stopped. Please donate and support anyway you can.
WE OWE IT TO THEM.
About PTSD Resolution
PTSD Resolution is a charity (no. 1133118) that helps Veterans, Reservists and Families who are struggling to reintegrate into a normal work & family life because of trauma suffered during service in the armed forces.
The programme is community-based, with treatment and support provided locally through a nationwide network of 200 therapists, accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. PTSD Resolution helps Veterans and Reservists to resolve the mental health problems associated with military trauma that obstruct a normal range of family and work relationships.
We have no salaried staff or assets at the charity: donations received are used to fund the cost of treatment by local therapists. We receive no Government funding.
