Story

This incredibly inspiring and dedicated team of Slimming World members and Consultants, who have lost more than 95 stone between them, will celebrate their weight loss achievements by running the 2018 London Marathon.

Target member Gemma Bosanko has lost 4st and lives in Cumbria.
Target member James Bishop has lost 10st 13.5lbs and lives in Norwich.
Target member Rachel Finch has lost 6st 9lbs and lives in Warrington.
Target member Mark Gibbon has lost 8st 7lbs and lives in South East Wales.
Consultant Jane Hammonds has lost 11st 3.5lbs and lives in Milton Keynes.
Member Giles Macrow has lost 11st 7lbs and lives in Suffolk.
Consultant Lynne McGrail has lost 6st 7.5lbs and lives in Kilmacud, Ireland.
Target member Tara Merrell has lost 7st and lives in Basildon, Essex.
Target member Neil Middleton has lost 10st 2lbs and lives in North East Derbyshire.
Target member Andy Wakefield has lost 14st and lives in Nottingham.
Target member Graeme Wharton has lost 7st 5lbs and lives in Sunderland.
Amy Williams works in the Slimming World PR team and lives in Nottinghamshire, and is running for the team after securing a ballot place.

Please support our fabulous team and help them raise valuable funds for Slimming World's charity partners. All our UK based runners will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK while Lynne, who is based in Ireland, will be supporting the Irish Cancer Society.

Slimming World's charitable foundation SMILES (Slimmer's Making It a Little Easier for Someone) has raised over £24 million for worthwhile causes since it launched in 1997. In 2022, SMILES will be raising funds for Cancer Research UK, the Irish Cancer Society and Alzheimer's Research UK.
