Story
I am taking on this 100km challenge throughout the month of May, to raise vital funds for
a charity that is close to my heart. For over 20 years I have had the pleasure
of knowing Tara, a bright and kind young lady who has Tuberous Sclerorsis.
The Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA) is the only UK
charity dedicated to supporting people affected by Tuberous Sclerosis Complex
(TSC). TSC is a genetic condition that can lead to growths in various organs of
the body, but those most commonly affected are the brain, eyes, heart, kidney,
skin and lungs. People with TSC also commonly have Epilepsy, Autism and learning disabilities.
If you are able to please donate to help support individuals
like my friend Tara and the Tuberous Sclerosis Association. The charity is
small, meaning every donation matters and counts.
