Story
I've quit my job to do something I've inexplicably wanted to do since I rode from Sydney to Melbourne 20 years ago, only this time I'd like to try and raise a little money for a cause I've had on my mind since Ed was in hospital. If you're unfamiliar I'll post a link at the end, but essentially this is an unsupported ride with a modest goal to give a little back to the NHS, specifically the children's ward in Milton Keynes. We all know the service is struggling but without their help 5 years ago we could have faced the worst possible outcome. Even if you don't donate for me, or the NHS or Milton Keynes in particular, please just donate if Ed's ever made you laugh or impressed you with his LEGO.

We hoped it might raise awareness of the condition and it's a little over sensational in parts as you might imagine, but it was certainly scary. Staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome (SSSS) is pretty rare and we were lucky it was diagnosed and treated quickly.
Warning: the photo's in this article are graphic but he's OK now!
