Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

'Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we deal with it

There are many of you that now know my story, but for those of you that do not. I was misdiagnosed severely for many years, which had a detrimental effect on my life with several different illness including physical and mental. I never fully felt well and many symptoms led to constant hospital visits and this continued for years and years.

The facts were that I had a tumor that was growing in my Pituitary gland that was eventually diagnosed as my body began to fail ... The rare type of tumor that is traditionally benign became malignant and also severely effected my hormone system .. Leading me to early menopause and infertility and even today consistent medications and checks.

Several years of treatment and amazing support and a positive attitude has got me to where I am today. .It is my continual philosophy however, that with increased awareness and continued research significant progress will be made to help those on a similar journey.

The Pituitary Foundation is essential to this cause and it is my passion by creating awareness via fundraising projects and joint experiences that we, as a collective, will continue to aid others in the future.....and Now together with some of my amazing friends we are going to climb Snowdonia to raise further funds...

I feel very proud to walk side by side up the mountain (which I am hoping with be a sunny day) with .my three yoga buddies and close friends ... ..Sam Reynolds 3 times breast cancer survivor and who runs an incredible support group for woman post care Sam Spaces.  Louise Rogers , yoga teacher (check out Louise Rogers Yoga) and her dog Holly (our mascot ) and the lovely Rebecca Overy. .... Together support us to raise more funds for this charity .....

If you want to read my full story or a copy of the magazine that I am on the front cover with my father  of (the cover photo taken by the talented Liane ) of the spring edition then I will pass on a copy.

Thank you
