SEH French charity walk for Alzheimer’s Society
Someone develops dementia every three minutes in the UK. So, it’s no surprise it impacts so many lives, including loved ones of the SEH French team.
We dream of a day where there is a cure for dementia and, until then, we are joining the fight against it. SEH French will be walking 18 miles along the Suffolk coast to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
With every step we take, we hope to take one step closer to a cure.
By raising as much money as possible, we can help this incredible cause fund vital research. Not only that, but the money raised will also help the charity provide invaluable support to people living with dementia and their families.
Some of us have seen the support they provide first-hand, so we know how incredibly important it is.
Charities across the world have seen significant drops in their income as a result of the pandemic, due to restrictions and events having to be cancelled. Alzheimer’s Society has been no different. While restrictions are no more, any donations remain as important as ever to continue their great work.
The route will see us walk along the picturesque Suffolk coast, starting in Dunwich. From there we’ll walk to Sizewell, then opposite Leiston Abbey, up to Minsmere and around Dunwich Forest, before finishing where we began.
Come rain or shine, the team are busy training for their challenge so they can give it their all. The team would be extremely grateful of any donations they receive, so please donate to our challenge if you are able to.
We can’t wait to start the charity walk and support this brilliant cause – hopefully the weather will be on our side!
Together, step by step, we can work towards a dementia-free tomorrow.
