Story
Due to an injury 4 weeks out I was forced to withdraw from the London Marathon in 2017. I am back for 2018! For those of you who donated early last year, we have kept your donation( Thank you) and those who didn't you have the chance now.
I was introduced to the team at Special Effect over 6 years ago by Gamma Telecom, their aim is simple- allowing kids to be kids.

Children with disabilities face problems in their everyday life that most adults take for granted Special Effect have developed systems for children ranging from larger controllers and customised pads to eye-controlled video games(I've tried these, they take a lot of skill).
Special Effect are a small charity based in Oxford that have a large input into bringing normality and joy to those who without them may never get to play Mario Kart or Minecraft.
I have had the privilege of meeting the Special Effect team along with the families that they help, one of the families told me the biggest problem now is getting their child off the video game.
I will be constantly reminding you of this great cause over months running up to the event. Donate generously to this cause - it is a charity that has a massive impact on individuals.
I will be competing in 2 half marathons in the coming months
Lee Valley VeloPark February 24th 2018
Thames Meander Half Marathon March 10th 2018
I will note any worthwhile updates and maybe throw in a few training selfies along the way.
