I was diagnosed type 1 diabetic on 7th November 1994. I'm lucky to be in a position where I don't remember much about life before diabetes so its just a normal part of life but know many others in different positions to me where it has had an impact. I want to raise as much as I can to help find a cure. 

So I plan not only 2 swim this challenge, but double it! A total of 44 miles the equivalent of swimming the English channel twice.
