Story
Sadly 2016 has been a bad year for my own health but mainly because in the month of july on the 18th we lost my best friends dad to cancer and one of our good friends all on the same day and the end of the same week we also lost my other best friends mum to cancer,And i myself became very ill.
I decided before i'd completed the south coast challenge that as a mark of respect and love for my friends i would dedicate The Cotswold 50km challenge to the people we loved and lost and are continuing to fight (will be my toughest to date due to my ongoing op's and treatment and sadly my last big hike, doctors orders) and Ive chosen macmillan because i firstly promised my best friend i would and i know how great they were in helping support my best friends dad, and my other best friends mum and family and them. Also our family too. And i know they help countless other people to help them get through one of the toughest times of anyones life.
I know i asked last year for your help and im sorry to ask again. But its for an amazing cause and in memory of an amazing man and women. Any donation no matter what size will be greatly appreciated. And i will do my video diaries as we go along to show you our progess and keep you up to date. After the event there is a further 4 weeks to hit the required target. If you can help please do.
Lots of love
Sally xx
