Initially, I started my fund raising for Cancer Research Wales as a result of the passing of my dad to cancer in 2017,after being ill for only 9 weeks.A massive loss to me and all of my family.

In 2018 I completed my first trek in his memory and hiked the inca trail and managed to raise an overwhelming amount of just over £12000. Always with the intention of doing another trek.

In 2021 I shall be taking on  Killimanjaro, It is the highest mountain in Africa, with its summit about 4,900 metres from its base, and 5,895 metres above sea level. Trekking and camping at altitude.

During the past year several of my friends have been touched by this devastating disease and it has made me more determined to help raise the much needed funds to tackle research into saving more lives.

One in two of us will suffer from this disease and research is paramount in saving more lives .Early diagnosis and quality treatment programmes are essential and fundraising is how we can help.
