Story
My name is Jim Wood, last year I sign up to the brave challenge of completing a Wing walk in support of Primrose Hospice.
Unfortunately due to the Covid19 pandemic this was sadly cancelled which was so disappointing as I had also planned to take on the challenge to celebrate my 90th Birthday.
Now 12 months on I am more determined than ever to accomplish this as it has always been something I have longed to do, and would love your support in helping me raise vital funds for Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove.
My wife Ruth and myself have lost many friends over the years, and know just how important the support and care Primrose Hospice gives to the patients and families who who need it most, through very difficult and uncertain times.
I have recently signed up to my local gym to limber up and ensure I am ready to clamber on board the aircraft
Being an ex service man I am a member of the RAFA and also a member of the Battle of Britain Memorial flight club so I am well acquainted with flying.
I am really looking forward to this experience so that I can cross it off my to do list and I thank Primrose hospice for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
