We are both  consultant oncologists at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre (CCC) and are running the virtual London Marathon in October
to support the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Charity.

During lockdown running became a time to catch up, gossip
and de-stress but soon the dreaded question “ shall we do a marathon?” came up in conversation.

When the opportunity to run the London virtual marathon for the
CCC charity arose we decided  we couldn’t resist the challenge and the opportunity to raise money for a charity we care passionately about.

We will be running 26.2 miles  around Cheshire and
Warrington  as this is our local community and is served by the amazing team at CCC.
