'Trek to Everest Base Camp' they said.  'It will be fun' they said. 

The idea put together by one person and others, including myself and Dani, quickly jumped onboard.

'Ok - Let's do this'

So in March 2018, together with a group of 14 others from across UK and Germany, we are heading to do just that!!! The team (HavenAbove) is a group of friends who all have connections with the British Military and have come together for this expedition.

The challenge will be real, the scenery will be breathtaking and the bridges will be high!  You will be able to follow us, every step of the way, on Facebook and on this JustGiving Page, as we are planning daily updates all the way up to the dizzy altitude of 5,380m above!!!

Why we chose to fundraise for St Barnabas? 

Having received the team's support during a difficult time, whilst caring for our Dad/Grandad, the dedication and care given at home was outstanding. The St Barnabas team of specialists brought compassion and humour through the door every single day and now we would like to take this opportunity to give them a little something back.....with your help please!!
