Story
It’s 2023 and a while since event 37. Following the challenges that Covid-19 threw my way which prevented completion of my 40 races, I am picking up the baton again to raise money for suicide prevention charity, Grassroots. Event 38 is a biggy! A half iron distance taking me from London to Brighton by lake (swim), road (bike) and trail (run). Thank you for taking the time to donate and support this cause, that as you know, is so close to my heart x x x in memory of my sister, Klaire
Over 20 months starting September 2018, I will be taking part in 40 challenges including family fun runs, triathlons, marathons, mud runs, bike rides and much more! to raise money for the Brighton based suicide prevention charity Grassroots. Family, friends and anyone who is interested in taking part is welcome to join me on this journey.
After loosing my sister in 2016 I have struggled to come to terms with my loss and this challenge is my way of moving forward in a positive way. I want to raise awareness and highlight the importance of talking about our mental health. We need those barriers broken down and the stigma surrounding suicide, to hopefully become a thing of the past.
Please donate generously and I will keep you posted about every event and the highs and lows!
