Naas race to help Barretstown children

- In conjunction with the Irish EBF Ballyhane Stakes race day on Monday August 2nd, Naas Racecourse have launched a partnership with children’s charity, Barretstown who have lost over €1 million fundraising revenue due to Covid-19 pandemic.
- To raise much needed funds for Barretstown, Naas Racecourse ask everyone to donate a minimum of €5 to their Barretstown and be in with a chance to win a €5,000 holiday voucher from Hannon Travel.
- Each individual donation will be placed ina draw where ex leading amateur rider and Naas local, Katie Walsh will pick 24 names who will be assigned a horse in the €300,000 Irish EBF Ballyhane Stakes,the richest race at Naas Racecourse. The person assigned to the winning horse will walk away with a €5,000 voucher from Hannon Travel. The race will take place on Bank Holiday Monday August 2nd.
- The draw for the 24 names, who will be assigned a horse in the race, will be made on Friday 30th July.
- Based in Ballymore Eustace in County Kildare, the mission at Barretstown is to rebuild the lives of children affected by serious illness and their families, through a life changing therapeutic recreation programmes in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

- All money raised will go directly to Barretstown.
- HOW TO DONATE? Simply hit the Give Now button and sign into JustGiving so we can see your name & contact details for the competition.
- Those who make a donation before noon on July 28th (excluding those who made an anonoymous donation) will be automatically entered into a draw.
- 24 finalists will be picked and announced on Friday 30th July.
- Each finalist will be assigned to a horse in the Irish EBF Ballyhane Stakes Race on Bank Holiday Monday August 2nd at Naas Racecourse.
- The Naas Racecourse event will take place infront of a limited crowd in line with government guidelines.
- The voucher from Hannon Travel will be issued to the winner when the government give the green light for international travel.
