Story

Thank you for taking your time to support me during my Sahara Trek for the Brain Tumour Charity. This trek is self-funded in connection with Charity Challenge and all money raised will go directly to the charity.

The challenge is a 100km trek in the Sahara Desert over 5 days in February 2019.

Brain Tumours are one of the highest killers for people under 40, and this is a great opportunity and challenge in order to raise awareness, funding for research and support for those experiencing this disease.

I am raising money in memory of my husband, David Bartholomew (aka Bart) who passed away in 2011 at the age of 28, from a Glioblastoma brain tumour. I wish to raise funds for vital research so others have a chance to fight against brain tumours.

I also have a blog that will cover my training and the actual trek itself - https://rkbartholomew.wixsite.com/saharatrek19
