In October 2022 my husband Luke was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This diagnosis came as a huge shock to all of us. Since Luke’s diagnosis our whole world has been tuned upside down in less than a month. But thanks to the JR Neuroscience team and research carried out by the Brain tumour charity, Luke’s surgery was a success! They were able to remove the tumour using specialised equipment and medications thanks to donations from charity’s and research. We still have a long road ahead of us but we are strong and luke will fight this!

Luke’s diagnosis is rare as brain tumours are not usually found in people of his age. We are so grateful for everyone’s support and effortless work they have put in to ensure Luke has the best care possible. 

That’s why this 10k fundraiser is so close to my heart. Because without this charity I may not of had my husband here with me. So even if you can donate something as small as £1 or even join me on my 10k mission to raise money! Anything and everything is appreciated. 

I cannot wait to take you all along on this journey with me. And hopefully we can save someone else’s life with the money we raise.
