Hi Everybody!!

I've now completed the firewalk!!!!  Had to go down to London in the end on 28th Jan06 as not enough people dared to do it up North.....!!

It was an amazing experience and not a burnt sole in sight!  A few facts for you:

skin burns at 300oF; the coals were burning at 1236oF!!  We walked over 15 feet and didn't feel a thing!!  Magic!!

There's photographic evidence and a certificate incase any of you need proof!

Whilst we were down there we met a man who has benefited massively from Phoenix House - the work they do really is fantastic and helps those less fortunate than you and I get over their destructive addicitons and gives them a chance in life.,..... that's putting it mildly!  If it wasn't for people such as you sponsoring people like myslef and Wendy, this man would have died years ago and wouldn't be on a course to train as a social worker to help in this field.
