The team at Progressive Property, Peterborough are hoping to smash a world record - and raise vital cash for charity at the same time
Rob Moore and Mark Homer, along with other colleagues from Progressive Property, will aim to break the Guinness World Record for the longest team speech - by talking non-stop for 100 hours +
The record attempt will begin on July 29th, and the team will be raising money for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice.
We have currently raised over £190,000 over the past 2 years for Sue Ryder so far and are looking to raise even more this time!
Rob Moore decided to try and break the records following the death of his Nan, who died in a private care home. Following her death he visited Thorpe Hall, and saw the work they carried out.
He said: “I’ve turned my attention from supporting Cancer charities (we’ve donated around £200K) to Sue Ryder, who have an amazing hospice ‘Thorpe Hall,’ that give people in their last days an amazing quality of life.
“As a charity, they need people like us to help our older generation families.
