Story
2 years ago it was decided that Darryl Walsh and 3 friends, Kirsty Hodgman, Paul Renwick and Andrew Roast, would attempt to run from Sylvan Infant School to all the other infant schools in Poole in the school day. This meant 27.8 miles and 11 schools. In the process they managed to raise nearly £2000 for sport relief and were hopeful that in the process they inspired the children they met to either take part in more exercise and lead a healthier life style or try and make a difference to our wider community thinking of others first.
This time around they thought they would try and do it all again but bigger and better. 32 schools, 36 miles - a long way!
Now almost all Poole schools are working together to show what a difference they can make working as a community. Staff from most schools are challenging themselves to run some/all of the distance in order to raise a target amount of £10,000.
Please support us all to achieve this goal.
