Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I have worked as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) for many years and cannot think of a better charity than Diabetes UK to raise money for.

They provide wide ranging types of support for people living with diabetes and their families/carers as well as health care professionals.

I have always enjoyed cycling and have done some long distance journeys abroad as well as longer UK routes like John O' Groats to Lands End, Way of the Roses and Lowestoft to St Davids. It is a great way to get outside, keep fit and meet new people.

I am doing this ride as part of a team effort with two colleagues who are also DSNs. We are planning some training rides together and I will post progress updates on this page. Now all we need is some better weather?
