Having once been over 29 stone and with poor health prospects, I was encouraged to lose weight and received amazing support from family, friends and colleagues. With their help, I got down to under 14 stone and have run 2 half-marathons and several 10ks and lots of the obligatory Park Runs which I love.

I'm fundraising for SENSE, a national charity that supports people with complex communication needs, including those who are deafblind, to be understood, connected and valued.

I want to give something back to charity after so many people helped me on my journey and SENSE provides such amazing support to families, they deserve to be helped in their aims.
