Story
On the 17th August I have set up a personal challenge which involves me doing a trek from sunrise to sunset up and down the steep Wrekin Hill in Telford. To my knowledge this has never been attempted before, as it involves at least 14 and a half hours of trekking up and down, which is a mamouth task itself.
I usually visit the hospice every year to donate and visit staff and patients as well as the chapel, but because of the current pandemic I have been unable to do that this year. So instead I have put it on myself to take part in this challenge in memory of my late mother, for whom it will be 15 years since she took her last breath at the hospice. The staff at Compton Care are amazing and so doing this amazing thing for them will be an honor.
