We are a small Quilting Group of 14 friends, who meet once a month in Eynsford, Kent. We call ourselves "Sew n Sews". We made this Quilt as a fundraising Raffle for "Target Ovarian Cancer" in support of one of our members. We have named the Quilt "Pansy Parade".
The Quilt is First Prize in our Grand Raffle to be held on Saturday, 22nd September 2018 at 2.30pm at St. Martin's Church, Eynsford, Kent. DA4 0EH
2nd prize Afternoon Tea for 2 at Riverside Tea Room, Eynsford
3rd prize National Gardens £50 voucher plus many more exciting prizes.
To buy a ticket for this Draw please make a donation of £10 for 10 tickets (or more!) to this page. Once your donation has gone through, tick the box alongside "I'm happy to be contacted by" Justgiving can then share your contact details with me and I can post you the tickets. If the box is left unticked then you have made a straightforward donation to our cause but won't receive raffle tickets.
The Quilt is an Irish Chain pattern with Applique Pansy Motif. Each member has hand stitched a Pansy block and the Quilt was machine sewn together during a lovely weekend away at The Quilt Retreat in November 2017. Designed and long arm professionally quilted by Julie Barnes at The Quilt Retreat, Hooe, Battle.
