Story
Hi everyone! My name is Lotti and I am the Events fundraiser at St Wilfrid's Hospice, and organiser of Starlight Stroll. I'm running this page on Pam's behalf so she can focus on her walk, so please read her story below!
------------------------------------------------
Hello, my name is Pam Baisden and I am taking part in St Wilfrid's Hospice's Virtual Starlight Stroll.
I want to raise money for St Wilfrid's because of the care I received from them after being diagnosed with Covid-19. I wasn't a patient of theirs beforehand, but they looked after me so well and I want to help raise money for them.
the walk is 4 miles long, and i'm aiming to complete this by walking in my back garden and around my house. It will be hard, but I can do anything for the Hospice because I am so grateful to them. They gave me such wonderful care and every detail was taken care of - even down to the wonderful Beef Stroganoff the chef made me for dinner one evening!
You can read a bit more about my story here:

I would be so grateful if you could donate to my page and help me raise money for the Hospice. They run an amazing service, and i'd really like to give back to them if i can.
St Wilfrid's Hospice's mission is to transform end of life care for the people of Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and all the points in between. Serving a population of 235,000 people covering an area of around 300 square miles, our expert teams work to help people to live well until the end of their lives and to support their family and friends. We provide care in our 20-bed Inpatient Unit, through our Wellbeing service and, increasingly, to families in their own homes. We are a charity that relies on voluntary donations to support over 70% of our vital work. It costs just over £15,000 a day to provide our care and support services across our catchment area. This year, we are aiming to raise over £100,000 at our Starlight Stroll event so we can continue to support our patients and their families in the wake of the effects that Covid-19 has had on our services.
